What are cards? They are stuff you play with in a desk or a table. HOWEVER, they have a very different use here! They are to be COLLECTED AT ALL COSTS. And where do you store them? Well, that's why you have a BOOK. Each card you loot from the ground, goes directly to your book. In fact, for monsters with lv 30 and above, you get a small boost in a stat (Don't worry, it doesn't override a potion's effect if the potion's effect is stronger), that most of the time is limited to a particular area.
DISCLAIMER
However, remember that it can't be taken from your book, so these are untradeable. Nontheless, that doesn't mean it's you the only one who can grab it, but it dissapears after 3 minutes from the ground, just like any other item.
CHAPTER 2: Book pages.
Ah! So you've opened your book by now! If not, try to find the shortcut in your keyboard, or set it yourself. Another option is using the Shortcut button at the bottom right of the screen.
Digging deeper into the book we find different tabs on the sides. Click them to have a look at the monsters under each category. They are separated by level range, so have that in mind when searching for a particular monster. As new monsters are released into the game, they'll be added at the end of the list. Just for greater detail, the lv ranges are:
Red Tab: lv 1 - 15
Orange Tab: lv 16 - 30
Yellow Tab: lv 31 - 45
Green Tab: lv 46 - 60
Light Blue Tab: lv 61 - 75
Blue Tab: lv 76 - 90
Purple Tab: lv 90 - 105
Black Tab: lv 106 and above.
Golden Tab: Special Cards.
WAIT WHAT? SPECIAL CARDS? Indeed! Those are the boss cards, and event cards. Only a xmas reindeer and snowman are here from events for now, and seemingly, the only ones. However, all other bosses have their home here. From the weakling Mano to the feared Horntail. Most of these are hard to get, but others, like Papulatus, Pianus or Zakum drop most of the time.
*Insert here what each of the card does. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and exp boost, nothing else afterwards*
CHAPTER 3: Book level.
To begin with, you can double click anyone and by clicking monster book in his little profile window, you get to know what are their monster book level. How's the level calculated, though? Ok, to begin with, it only counts different cards. Repeated ones won't count. With that in mind...

We can only get LV 7 for now, apparently, but as more monsters come out, we can technically reach lv 8.
Oh yeah, and each level color represents each color tab. Red, orange, yellowish green, green, light blue, blue, purple, and black.
CHAPTER 4: Sneaky tactics.
*Use x2 drop increase from boss cards*
*Event leaf sale prices*
*Tricky cards*
