Revived from my old thread, here's a quickie at how the new formula (applied to everyone and not only Aran) will work
Take a look at the following SS-es. Even though their level differences is only 5, there is at least a 50% cut in EXP gained when Affrika tried to leech from MoonW0lf.
Affrika - level 28
MoonW0lf - level 33
A normal boar gives 42 EXP
Affrika only gained 9 EXP when MoonW0lf kills a boar
However when Affrika kills a boar while in the party, he gains 36 EXP
Conclusion:
While in a party, with the new EXP formula, you will gain more EXP only if you kill, as EXP you gained from other members in the party has been nerfed by at least 50%.
This 50% EXP nerfed has instead been added into the EXP you gain ONLY if you kill a monster. Good move Nexon!
Do also take note their level differences is only 5. Imagine if a 13x ++ Bishop spamming for 7x noobs, the EXP gained by the leechers would be horrendous.
