The new Resistance job, Xenon, has been added! Xenon is super unique as it is the first hybrid job, being both a thief and a pirate! It is the same as the Automata class we knew about earlier, and has basically the same skills. Read on for more information!
Demon Avenger’s character card effect has been changed to 1%/2%/3%/4% boss damage.
There were also some skill changes.
- Abyssal Rage: HP consumed has been increased from 200 to 400
- Demon Booster: HP consumed has been increased from 0 to 200, max level has been decreased from 20 to 10
- Exceed: Demon Strike: HP consumed after 5 hits has been decreased from 5% to 3%
- Inner Strength: HP boost has been removed, now gives 250 defense and magic defense
- Desperado Mastery: accuracy boost has been increased from 120 to 200
- Inhale Vitality: cooldown has been decreased from 15 to 12 seconds
- Shield Charge: damage has been decreased from 300% to 200%
- Exceed: Moonlight Slash: HP consumed after 5 hits has been decreased from 6% to 5%
- Exceed: Execution: ignore monsters’ defense effect has been removed, HP consumed after 5 hits has been decreased from 7% to 6%
Xenon uses the Energy Sword as his main weapon and the Controller as his secondary weapon. He also uses a Hybrid Heart as a power source (this is similar to the Emblem of the Nova classes). He is a hybrid of the thief and pirate classes, and can therefore wear either equipment.
When creating Xenon, you can choose between the Xenon type or the Su type (for males) and Orca type (for females). I’m not too sure why you can do this (maybe Xenon was designed after one of these characters?).
Its job advancement animation looks really cool, haha. It’s like a satellite that appears above him and starts this technological wing stuff.
The Secret Research Facility Veritas has been added. Xenon can use his beginner skillPromessa Assault to teleport there. You can then use the Promessa to teleport instantly to any town in the Maple World.
In terms of storyline, Xenon was created by the evil scientist Gelimer to become the perfect weapon. However, Xenon escaped and joined the Resistance, in order to retrieve the memories that were taken from him.
This girl, Beryl, appears a lot as a boss. This is the same one from the diary entry a couple of weeks ago! She is sent by Gelimer to retrieve Xenon, and calls him a traitor.
Xenon is very unique with his skill systems. First off, he uses not one, not two, but three different stats! Xenon gains bonuses from having STR, DEX, and LUK, so having equipment that gives all stats would probably be most useful.
He also uses the Surplus Supply system. He collects Surplus Energy over time which can then be used to activate certain abilities.
Finally, the Multi Mode Linker allows Xenon to change his skill types to fit different situations! This applies to a few skills, each of which have 3 different modes.
Xenon Skills
Beginner
- Surplus Supply: Recover 1 Surplus Energy every 4 seconds, with a 60% chance of recovering 1 Surplus Energy after successfully dodging an attack. All of your stats are increased by 2% for each Surplus Energy you have.
- Hybrid Logic: By using a hybrid logic design, all of your stats are increased by 5% (10% for level 2). (Link Skill)
- Multilateral I: Based on your AP, you will receive distinct bonuses. If you have more than 20 STR, you will receive 10% Stance. If you have more than 20 DEX, you will receive 10% resistance to statuses and elements. If you have more than 20 LUK, you will receive 10% avoid rate. If you have more than 20 of all three stats, your damage will be increased by 10%.
- Promessa Assault: The all terrain hovercraft Promessa is called to return you to your base.
- Multi Mode Linker: After your second job advancement, you will be able to change the Modes of your Multi Mode Linker skills. Click the mode button beside the skill and press ←, ↑, or → to choose your mode.
- Aviation Liberty: By turning on your boosters, you will be able to fly freely for 30 seconds. You can attack while flying. If you continue to move in the same direction, you will go faster due to acceleration. By pressing the skill key again, you can turn off your boosters. There is a cooldown of 30 seconds.
- Camouflage: You can ignore the job requirements of thief and pirate armor.
First Job
- Energy Spline: Swing your Energy Sword twice in front of you, dealing 141% damage two times on up to 4 enemies. (max level: 20)
- Sudden Propel: While in the air, you can use your boosters to jump up to two more times. (max level: 10)
- Incline Power: [Supply] Consumes 3 Energy to increase your attack by 30 for 180 seconds. Passive effect: adds 10 to all stats. (max level: 20)
- Radial Nerve Refine: By enhancing your lumbar nervous system, your speed and maximum speed are increased by 20, your jump by 10, and your accuracy by 10%. (max level: 10)
- Multilateral II: Based on your AP, you will receive distinct bonuses. If you have more than 40 STR, you will receive 10% Stance. If you have more than 40 DEX, you will receive 10% resistance to statuses and elements. If you have more than 40 LUK, you will receive 10% avoid rate. If you have more than 40 of all three stats, your damage will be increased by 10%. (max level: 5)
Second Job
- Quicksilver Sword: Flash: [Multi Mode - ↑] Cut down enemies in front of you quickly with your Energy Sword, dealing 145% damage three times on up to 6 enemies. (max level: 20)
- Quicksilver Sword: Focus: [Multi Mode - ←] Thrust your Energy Sword forward slowly, dealing 248% damage two times on up to 6 enemies with an increase of 200 accuracy and 30% critical chance. (max level: 20)
- Quicksilver Sword: Jump: [Multi Mode - →] Quickly jump up with your boosters while wielding your Energy Sword, dealing 155% damage two times on up to 8 enemies. Can be used during Ion Thruster. (max level: 20)
- Ion Thruster: Ride your Ion Thrusters, pushing up to 6 enemies in front of you while dealing 101% damage continuously. You can hold the key down for a maximum of 8 seconds. (max level: 15)
- Linear Perspective: [Supply] Consumes 6 Energy to see enemies’ weak points for 180 seconds, increasing your critical chance by 50%. Passive effect: adds 20 to all stats. (max level: 20)
- Efficiency Pipeline: The efficiency of your flow of energy is increased for 180 seconds, increasing your HP and MP by 30%. Passive effect: increases your HP and MP by 1000. (max level: 10)
- Xenon Booster: Your attack speed is increased by 2 stages for 240 seconds. (required skill: level 5 Xenon Mastery) (max level: 10)
- Minority Support: Passively increase all stats by 10. (max level: 5)
- Xenon Mastery: Permanently increase your mastery to 50% and your attack by 20. (max level: 10)
- Multilateral III: Based on your AP, you will receive distinct bonuses. If you have more than 90 STR, you will receive 10% Stance. If you have more than 90 DEX, you will receive 10% resistance to statuses and elements. If you have more than 90 LUK, you will receive 10% avoid rate. If you have more than 90 of all three stats, your damage will be increased by 10%. (max level: 5)
Third Job
- Combat Switching: Explode: [Multi Mode - ↑] Hold your Energy Sword in front of you, exploding energy to deal 138% damage four times on up to 8 enemies. (max level: 20)
- Combat Switching: Divide: [Multi Mode - ←] While in the air, attack enemies below you dealing 251% damage three times on up to 6 enemies. Can be used during Diagonal Chase. (max level: 20)
- Combat Switching: Shoot Down: [Multi Mode - →] Swing your Energy Sword diagonally, dealing 250% damage to up to 8 enemies in front of you. If an enemy is in the air, they will take an extra 190% damage. (max level: 20)
- Diagonal Chase: By using the full power of the air boosters, fly upwards pushing up to 6 enemies and deal 300% damage. Can be used during Pillar Scramble. (max level: 20)
- Pillar Scramble: An energy field is unfolded, dealing 301% damage two times on up to 6 enemies. Enemies within the gravity field will float into the air. (max level: 20)
- Dual Breed Defensive: [Supply] Consumes 10 Energy to increase your avoid rate to 100%. Each time you avoid an attack, your avoid rate will be decreased by 5%. The damage you take is reduced by 5%. The effect is removed when you avoid 10 attacks. Passive effect: adds 30 to all stats. (required skill: level 5 Linear Perspective) (max level: 20)
- Aegis System: When you are attacked or avoid an attack, there is a 100% chance of launching three missiles at your enemies dealing 120% damage each. These missiles will ignore Damage Reflection. (max level: 10)
- Triangle Formation: When attacking enemies, there is a 100% chance of attaching an Airframe to them. Once three Airframes are attached to an enemy, you can press the skill key to make them explode dealing 100% damage. Enemies with an Airframe attached will have their accuracy and avoid decreased by 8%. (max level: 10)
- Virtual Projection: Create a projection of yourself that copies your actions, dealing 70% of the damage you do. The projection will disappear once it has taken damage equal to 500% of your maximum health. (max level: 20)
- Multilateral IV: Based on your AP, you will receive distinct bonuses. If you have more than 150 STR, you will receive 10% Stance. If you have more than 150 DEX, you will receive 10% resistance to statuses and elements. If you have more than 150 LUK, you will receive 10% avoid rate. If you have more than 150 of all three stats, your damage will be increased by 10%. (max level: 5)
- Extra Supply: Using 5% of your health, recharge your Surplus Energy by 10. There is a cooldown of 60 seconds.
Fourth Job
- Blade Dancing: Increase the length of your Energy Sword, waving your sword as if you were dancing, dealing 323% damage on up to 6 enemies continuously, until the skill key is released. While the skill key is held down, you can move around the map.
- Purge Lob Masquerade: Bomb: [Multi Mode - ↑] Rooty appears on a ship, bombarding up to 8 enemies with missiles and lasers dealing 498% damage 6 times. (max level: 30)
- Purge Lob Masquerade: Laser: [Multi Mode - ←] Rooty appears on a tank, shooting a laser at up to 8 enemies in front of you dealing 405% damage 4 times. (max level: 30)
- Purge Lob Masquerade: Snipe: [Multi Mode - →] Rooty identifies the weakness of an enemy, and with a high-tech sniper rifle, you deal 675% damage 4 times. (max level: 30)
- Hologram Gravity: Penetrate: [Multi Mode - ↑] A hologram field is deployed in front of you for 20 seconds, the energy ball inside the field will attack enemies within the field dealing 213% damage. There is a cooldown of 30 seconds. (max level: 30)
- Hologram Gravity: Force Field: [Multi Mode - ←] A hologram field is deployed in front of you for 20 seconds, the energy ball inside the field will attack up to 8 enemies it comes in contact with for 400% damage. There is a cooldown of 30 seconds. (max level: 30)
- Hologram Gravity: Support: [Multi Mode - →] A hologram field is deployed in front of you for 20 seconds, increasing you and your allies’ health by 10% and avoid by 20% if you are within the field. If an ally avoids an attack inside the field, you will regain 1 Surplus Energy. There is a cooldown of 30 seconds. (max level: 30)
- Ooparts Code: [Supply] Consumes 20 Energy to exert a powerful strength, increasing your damage by 50% and your damage to bosses by 30% for 30 seconds. Passive effect: add 40 to all stats. (max level: 30)
- Offensive Matrix: Activate the offensive matrix, increasing your Stance by 40% and amount of monsters’ defense ignored by 30% for 180 seconds. (max level: 30)
- Instant Shirk: If you fail to avoid an attack, there will be a 50% chance to try again. Aegis System’s missiles will have their damage increased by 20%. (required skill: level 10 Aegis System) (max level: 30)
- Xenon Expert: Your mastery is increased to 70%, your attack is increased by 30, and your minimum critical damage is increased by 15%. (required skill: level 10 Xenon Mastery) (max level: 30)
- Time Capsule: A time capsule that distorts time is installed for 60 seconds, reducing the cooldowns of you and your party members at a fast rate. However, if the time capsule is hit, it will be destroyed, and you cannot use this skill in certain maps. There is a cooldown of 120 seconds. (max level: 1)
- Multilateral V: Based on your AP, you will receive distinct bonuses. If you have more than 260 STR, you will receive 10% Stance. If you have more than 260 DEX, you will receive 10% resistance to statuses and elements. If you have more than 260 LUK, you will receive 10% avoid rate. If you have more than 260 of all three stats, your damage will be increased by 10%. (max level: 5)
- Maple Warrior: Increase the stats of all party members by 15% for 900 seconds. (max level: 30)
- Hero’s Will: By focusing, you can rid yourself of any status effect. There is a cooldown of 360 seconds. (max level: 5)

- Blade Dancing – Reinforce: Blade Dancing’s damage is increased by 20%. [required level: 143]
- Blade Dancing – Fast Movement: Your movement speed while using Blade Dancing is increased by 10. [required level: 162]
- Blade Dancing – Extra Target: Blade Dancing’s number of monsters hit is increased by 2. [required level: 183]
- Purge Lob Masquerade – Reinforce: Purge Lob Masquerade’s damage is increased by 20%. [required level: 149]
- Purge Lob Masquerade – Ignore Guard: Purge Lob Masquerade’s amount of monsters’ defense ignored is increased by 10%. [required level: 168]
- Purge Lob Masquerade – Extra Target: Purge Lob Masquerade’s number of monsters hit is increased by 2. However, this is not applicable to when you are hitting only one target. [required level: 189]
- Hologram Gravity – Reinforce: Hologram Gravity’s damage is increased by 10%. [required level: 155]
- Hologram Gravity – Speed: Hologram Gravity’s energy ball’s movement speed is increased within the field. [required level: 177]

- Amaranth Generator: The Amaranth Engine provides infinite power for 10 seconds, allowing you to use all skills without consuming any Supply Energy. After using this skill, your Supply Surplus will be immediately filled. There is a cooldown of 90 seconds. [required level: 150]
- Confine Entangle: Slash up to 15 enemies in front of you for 700% damage 4 times, removing their buffs, reducing their defenses by 30%, and binding them for 15 seconds. There is a cooldown of 180 seconds. [required level: 170]
- Meltdown Explosion: Giant lasers from the sky bombard up to 15 enemies, dealing 900% damage 6 times. There is a cooldown of 90 seconds. [required level: 200]
