kMSt ver. 1.2.484 – Kritias & Monster Battle!

Fallen King's Castle Entrance
The new high levelled area, Kritias has been added in the latest Tespia patch! In addition, the new content Bamon’s League (which I believe other versions will be receiving at similar date as kMS?) was also included.
These things (maybe along with more?) will come to the real server on August 1.
Critias Kingdom - Marketplace
Kritias is a kingdom that disappeared from Maple World long ago. It is open to Maplers level 180 and above, and can be accessed through Sky’s Nest 1 in Leafre (or Pantheon’s Dimension Gate, Veritas, and Crystal Garden). A world map and other means of transportation will be added in a later patch.
This is the place that allows Maplers from every world to come together! The monsters in Kritias go up until level 210.
Half Magic Stone Piece Half Magic Stone Enheim Coin
When hunting monsters in Kritias, they have a chance to drop Half Magic Stone Pieces, which you can collect and put together to form Half Magic Stones. You can trade them in to Lavian to get Enheim Coins which you can use to buy items.
Inverse Codex
You can also infuse your Half Magic Stones into your Inverse Codex, enhancing its stats and upgrading its level. The Inverse Codex is a new pocket item and it starts off with 2 to all stats, 2 attack and magic attack.
I don’t know how many stones are needed to level up but I do know the stats it will gain!
  • Level 1: 50 defense and magic defense
  • Level 2: 100 defense and magic defense
  • Level 3: 100 HP and MP
  • Level 4: 200 HP and MP
  • Level 5: 1 all stats
  • Level 6: 2 all stats
  • Level 7: 1 attack and magic attack
  • Level 8: 2 attack and magic attack
  • Level 9: 1% defense ignore
  • Level 10: 3% defense ignore
  • Level 11: 2% boss damage
  • Level 12: 3% boss damage
Inverse Jewel Earrings Inverse Metal Shoulder
The Codex is part of the Kritias set with the Inverse Jewel Earrings (6 all stats, 600 HP and MP, 4 attack and magic attack, 6 slots, untradeable) and Inverse Metal Shoulderpad (10 all stats, 10 attack and magic attack, 1 slot, untradeable). I assume you can get these through the shop mentioned above (or maybe below?).
They are level 150 and there is a set effect! For wearing all three of the items above, you’ll gain 20 attack and magic attack and 20% boss damage.
Critias Commemoration Coin
Half Magic Stones can be traded in for another type of coin, the Kritias Commemoration Coins, which you can use to buy certain items.

Here is a picture of the Kritias coin shop (thanks to 콘파쿠 of Insoya)!

Base Damage Skin Digitalize Damage Skin Critias Damage Skin
These new items have been added, they’re called Damage Skins. The first is the base, the second is called Digitalize, and the third is called Kritias. Using one will change the appearance of your damage numbers (except the first, unless you already used one of the other ones). However, Zero cannot use them.
Digitalize 0 Digitalize 1 Digitalize 2 Digitalize 3 Digitalize 4 Digitalize 5 Digitalize 6 Digitalize 7 Digitalize 8 Digitalize 9 Digitalize Guard Digitalize Miss Digitalize Resist
Critias 0 Critias 1 Critias 2 Critias 3 Critias 4 Critias 5 Critias 6 Critias 7 Critias 8 Critias 9 Critias Guard Critias Miss Critias Resist
And here’s what they look like. The first is the Digitalize skin and the second is the Kritias skin.
Hekaton's Rest Chair
This is what the new chair, Hekaton’s Rest looks like, but it pales in comparison to the size of the real Hekaton, haha.

Commander Invasion (Magnus)Commander Invasion (Hilla)Commander Invasion (Lion King)Commander Invasion (Arkarium)
The Kritias area is constantly in danger of invasion from the Black Mage’s commanders. Just what are they aiming for in Kritias? The commanders and their soldiers invade several times a day. The people of Kritias eagerly await the help of Maple warriors to fight them!
Critias Kingdom - Marketplace (Invaded)
After every invasion, Kritias’ environment will change. If too much damage was taken, you’ll have to repair it before the next one or else Kritias may be taken over by the Black Mage!
As the allies of Kritias, Maple Warriors will have to undergo missions. If you manage to defeat a powerful Captain-class monster or commander, you’ll even gain special rewards. Currently on the test server, the commanders have not appeared. To get the Kritias’ Defense medal, try to help defend Kritias from other monsters.
Hekaton With Mapler
They have begun preparations to add the 1v100 boss Hekaton! Hekaton was actually the King of Kritias, but he became corrupted and was cursed to inhibit his castle.
I tried to render his map but it broke my program (so big!) so I just did his body. He’s huge!! You can even stand on some parts! Can you spot the Mapler?
Fallen King's Castle Minimap
I can see the minimap and it looks gigantic, with many platforms everywhere (probably to allow 100 Maplers to move around and hit his whole body). There are portals on the side walls that let you go up and down the platforms.
Thanks to Locked of Southperry for the picture!
Bamon Lv 1 Orange Mushroom
Monster Battle, Bamon’s League has been added! It is a new type of content where you can capture, raise, and battle other Maplers with monsters found in Maple World! Basically Pokemon, haha. (thanks to 비츄 of Insoya for the pictures I am using here)
Capture SuccessCapture FailedAlready Owned
To get the Bamon Capture skill, you must complete certain quests. After that, you can use it to try and capture monsters! The success rate will depend on the monster’s level and the level of your Capture skill. All captured monsters will be shared throughout your account.
You can even capture boss monsters! But be careful, it will be much harder than regular monsters.
Bamon Book
After you have captured at least 3 monsters, you can use the Bamon Book UI to participate in Bamon’s League. The Bamon Book shows your captured monsters, your equipped monsters (which will be used in leagues), Bamon skills, and Bamon equipment.
Bamon equipment can be gained from monster drops. There are 190 kinds (helmet, overall, gloves, shoes, cape, weapon) and can be equipped onto your monster to make them stronger. Bamon equipment will have a special red B in the bottom right corner to distinguish it from regular equipment.
Monster Battle
Pressing the Battle! button at the bottom of the UI will automatically find someone in Maple World with a similar level as you. At the beginning of the battle, you can choose which attack to use or else it will be chosen randomly. The battle will proceed automatically. If needed, you can minimize the UI during the battle.
Bamon Win
Your monster will gain experience if it participates in battle, and as it grows stronger, it will gain additional effects. Winning or losing will affect your ladder score and changes your current ranking, which can be one of the following (in order):
  • Beginner
  • Amateur
  • Semi-pro
  • Pro
  • All-star
  • Superstar
  • Legend
  • Mythic
Pipsqueak Leon Pipsqueak Orca Pipsqueak Hilla
Three new pets have been added, the Pipsqueak Commander set! It includes Pipsqueak Leon, Pipsqueak Orca, and Pipsqueak Hilla~
